From sign-upto takeoff.
Working back from the university’s deadlines, we go through consultation, application, payment and travel preparation in order, and explain what is needed at each stage as you reach it. Select a stage to open its description.
Contact us by LINE, the form or email. Together we check your course combination, the English requirement and your preferred session. Parents are welcome to contact us on their own.
We submit your application to the university’s application portal through our agent account. We review your entries and documents with you beforehand. The application processing fee is ¥5,000 (refunded after you take part).
When the university emails your Confirmation of Enrolment, pay the CAD 600 deposit within 5 business days to secure your place. The deposit is non-refundable.
Following the university’s invoice, pay the remaining balance by the final payment deadline (Sun, May 16, 2027 for the June session). You can pay by credit card (VISA, Mastercard, Discover) or international wire transfer.
Apply for your eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) or visa, book your flights and check what to pack. We recommend flights that can be changed or refunded. This is also a good time for English conversation support.
You arrive in Toronto on a Sunday, check in to residence, and fly home on the Saturday three weeks later. If you arrive and leave on the program’s first and last days, the university provides airport transfers.

FAQ
How good does my English need to be?
All courses require Advanced English (around CEFR C1). As a guide, that means IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 91 or Duolingo English Test 130 or higher. If you have attended a school that teaches in English (such as an international school) for two years or more, you do not need to submit a score.
How much does it cost in total?
The program fee paid to the university is CAD 6,625, which covers classes, residence, all meals, insurance, airport transfers, activities and weekend excursions. On top of that you will need airfare, an eTA or visa, and spending money. Our ¥5,000 application processing fee is refunded after you take part.
Can I choose different courses for the morning and afternoon?
Yes. The standard format is one course from the morning list and one from the afternoon list. Course offerings can change for university reasons, so it is a good idea to have a second choice in mind.
Do I need a visa?
It depends on your passport. Japanese citizens do not need a visa for a short stay, but must get an eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) online before flying to Canada. Holders of mainland China passports need a visitor visa (TRV). We will guide you through the application.
Is it all right to take part on my own?
Canadian university students live in the residence as counselors and take turns on duty at night. The residence has a 24-hour front desk and a security guard at night. We help with preparation before departure and with any questions from parents.
Will I get a refund if I cancel?
Refunds follow the university’s policy: a full refund (minus the non-refundable deposit) up to the final payment deadline, half up to the next deadline, and no refund after that. Different rules apply if a visa is refused. Our application processing fee is not refunded if you cancel.
